Sports & training injuries
Running, swimming, cycling, triathlon, field sport and gym-related injuries across athletes of different levels.
In-person
Evidence-based physiotherapy for sporting injuries, musculoskeletal pain and rehabilitation—built around your goals, lifestyle and return to activity.
What I can help with
From recent sporting injuries to persistent pain and post-operative rehabilitation, your treatment plan is shaped around what you need to get back to.
Running, swimming, cycling, triathlon, field sport and gym-related injuries across athletes of different levels.
Assessment and management of neck, back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and foot complaints.
Progressive loading and return-to-activity planning for common upper- and lower-limb tendon conditions.
Structured rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery, with progressive strength, mobility and function goals.
A practical and collaborative approach to improving movement, confidence and capacity when pain has become ongoing.
Clear progression from early rehabilitation through to work, daily activity, gym, training and sport-specific demands.
My approach
Your assessment considers the condition itself, the factors that may be contributing to it and the physical demands you want to return to. Treatment may combine hands-on care, education and progressive exercise depending on what is most appropriate for you.
Experience that shapes my practice
Experience across private practice, hospital rehabilitation, sport and coaching has exposed me to a broad range of conditions and recovery pathways. My own background in swimming and endurance sport also helps me understand the realities of managing pain while balancing training, competition, work and everyday life.
What to expect
Discuss your symptoms, goals and history before completing a focused physical assessment.
Work through the likely diagnosis, contributing factors and the priorities for recovery.
Use appropriate treatment and progressive exercise to rebuild the qualities you need.
Progress toward work, daily activity, training or sport with a plan that matches your goals.
