My story

Performance support grounded in real experience.

J Moro Performance was created to bring physiotherapy, swim coaching and endurance sport together in one practical service.

Having spent years as both an athlete and coach, I understand the frustration of injury, unclear advice, and training that does not suit the individual.

My goal is to combine evidence-based physiotherapy with clear, practical coaching so people can better understand their training, recovery and rehabilitation.

My journey

Built through sport, study and hands-on experience.

Each stage has shaped how I now approach rehabilitation, coaching and performance.

Foundation

Competitive swimming

More than 10 years of training and racing developed a strong understanding of technique, consistency and long-term athletic progression.

Education

Physiotherapy degree

Completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours and gained experience across private practice, gym rehabilitation and hospital settings.

Coaching

Swimming coach

More than six years of coaching swimmers across different ages and ability levels, from skill development through to performance-focused training.

Endurance sport

Ironman and open-water swimming

Personal experience completing an Ironman 140.6 and the Rottnest Channel Swim has strengthened my understanding of endurance training and recovery demands.

My philosophy

Clear, individual and built for the long term.

Principle 01

Keep it clear

People should understand what they are doing, why they are doing it and how it moves them toward their goal.

Principle 02

Solving the problem

Discovering the true cause of pain or performance limitations and then addressing them with evidence-based treatment and training.

Principle 03

Build sustainable progress

The best outcomes come from showing up consistently. Whether recovering from injury or training for performance, consistency is what drives lasting results.
